I got think about the road that I have travelled since I was born.
Although I seemed to inherit an urge to travel around, I have always enjoyed the people I have met, the experiences that have shaped me, and the God who saved me through it all. :)

Lyrics

Born in a small town country city
Born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan
Borne by two gentle loving parents
Tryin to find what they were meant to do
Tryin to find their purpose and their calling
Rollin like a wheel on down the road
Happily and free, with no one else but me
Takin turns at trying what they please

On the road, once again
Tryin to find what they were meant to do
On the road, once again
Searchin for what they were meant to do

Many towns and provinces later
Came a sense of settlin in
With two siblings later for good comp'ny
Our roots grew deep in Manitoba
Workin out a livin in a small town
Happy with the thought of settlin down
Living full and free, raised on Momma's knee
'Till the urge to travel came again

On the road, once again
Tryin to find what I was meant to do
On the road, once again
Still not sure what I was meant to do

On my own again back in Saskatchewan
Schoolin on my mind on fertile ground
The sense to wander took me even further
Led me to Alberta for a while
Then from province to another found me
With a wife and daughters in the fold
It was soon to be, we would move along all three
Further down this wond'rous windy road

On the road, once again
Tryin to find what we were meant to do
On the road, once again
Lookin for what we were meant to do

Then I found the Lord, or, did He find me
Still I haven't figured that all out
Life is sweet where I have settled into
Still the sense to ramble comes about
Some, sweet, day I'll head up yonder
Where my Saviour waits for me
Happy then to be, where I'm meant to be
Home at last; never more to roam

On the road, for, the last time
I have found that place I'm meant to be
On the road, for, the last time
Going where we're all meant to be
I'll be goin where I'd long - - to be
